We are in our fifteenth
year of summer band and strings camp at Vaughn Middle School
During this time, we have
enjoyed an average enrollment of 50 band students and 40 strings students every
summer.
The camp is open to
students who are proficient in their instrument having played at least one
year. Enrollment is open to anyone regardless of age.
A tremendous benefit to
the camp is that younger students have the privilege of sitting next to high
school and college students who attend.
The band program
participates in the Reno Rodeo Parade, marching through downtown Reno on
Saturday June 16th.
If you have already
planned your family summer vacation, we will make accommodations so that you
can still attend as much camp as possible. If you have any questions
